We are always on the lookout for bath towels, double bed linen and childrens duvet sets. Perhaps you could consider buying an extra set to donate to us, or pass on bedding to us if you are buying new sets for Christmas.

Selkirk “Friends Together” held a curry night this month and raised £187 for Fresh Start Borders. Many thanks to everyone who attended, prepared the delicious food, and made the evening such a success.
We were delighted to receive a recent donation of 8 open shelves and 2 filing cabinets from the Eildon Housing Group’s following their recent office re-organisation. At the beginning of March we received generous donations from local organisations: Scottish Borders Tenants Association and St Johns Church in Selkirk. The continuing donations are invaluable to us as they mean we are able to continue to buy items that would otherwise be too expensive to include in every pack. Thank you.

At the end of January we made our 1000th pack for new home-starters. The pack coincided with Poverty and Homelessness Action Week and we got lots of press coverage. Well done to everybody involved – volunteers, donors and supporters. How many packs will we have made up in another 5 years’ time?
