Handmade Donation – Apr 2019

We are very grateful for a recent donation of beautiful, hand-made baby blankets from a very kind supporter who wishes to remain anonymous. These gorgeous,soft and eco-friendly blankets will make a touching addition to a home pack for a young family.  

Sainsbury’s Home Delivery – Jan 2019

This week we received a huge delivery of items donated by staff and shoppers at Sainsbury’s stores in the Borders at Christmas. These fabulous gifts will make a big difference to people moving out of homelessness and into permanent accommodation in the Borders. Our sincere thanks go to everyone who contributed so generously.

Fun Day Funds – Sep 2018

Selkirk Bowling Club President, Marjorie Lawrie, presented Fresh Start volunteers with a cheque for £226, raised at the club’s recent Fun Day. Our thanks go to everyone who helped to make the fun day, and Saturday’s coffee morning, such a success.

Sainsbury’s Christmas Appeal – Dec 2016

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Sainsbury’s and the generous Borderers who donated to Fresh Start through Sainsbury’s Christmas appeal.  Following collections in stores in Peebles, Kelso, Hawick and Selkirk, we received 4 carloads of goods donated by staff and customers. What a fantastic Christmas gift!
